Manta Ray glass sculpture

This listing is for a custom made sculpture with your choice of Manta Rays. Each piece is made to order by Sean Price from borosilicate (Pyrex) glass. Sean hand sculpts each piece in the flame using no molds, making each piece one of a kind. Because it is handmade each unique piece will vary in shape, color, and size. You decide how many rays you'd like in your sculpture and Sean will use his creativity to create the perfect flow for the number of pieces (if there are 3 manta rays the actual ray is made a little smaller than if there are 1 or 2).

The rays are made with a hand mixed combination of black glass with a stardust sparkle applied on top giving it a sparkly shimmer (as shown in the first 4 photos). The bellies are created using a caramel tone to replicate the actual look of a ray. The rays are attached to clear seaweed blades.

The finished product is based on sand coral collected on the beaches of Maui (each also one of a kind). The sand coral is painted to replicate the look of black Hawaiian lava. Sean uses his skills and creativity to base the piece in a way that flows together with the glass and the size and shape of the base.

Keep in mind... All bases will vary as they are organically made by nature, no base is ever the same. All glass pieces will vary as mentioned above. No two pieces will be the same. What you see in the above pictures is not exactly how your custom piece will be.

Please allow 6-10 weeks for completion (depending on the size of the piece). Once the piece is complete we will send you digital photos with dimensions to approve. Once approved, we will ship. All glass is guaranteed in travel. If it is damaged in shipping we will repair or replace the damaged piece for free.
